Some of the world’s leading engineers, microbiologists and infection control professionals met in London today to discuss new technology.
The event, hosted by Inov8 Science included announcements on the latest technology and research into preventing the spread of airborne disease.
Inov8 Science is a British company which has successfully turned research into a new device proven to rid the air of bacteria and viruses.
Innov8 Science has developed an unobtrusive device that has been tested by the UK Health Protection Agency, demonstrating that it kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses, including drug resistant strains of organisms.
World renowned experts explained the importance of the new technology in controlling MRSA, e. coli, TB, and influenza.
These included professor Hugh Pennington, former President of the Society for General Microbiology, and the UK’s leading authority on identifying and combating life-threatening bacteria, professor Derek Ellwood, a world renowned microbiologist who has advised both the United Nations and the World Health Organisation on human health and vaccination and Clive Beggs, professor of Medical Technology at the University of Bradford.
